One-Gallon Western PA Stoneware Advertising Jug, circa 1875, ovoid jug with tooled spout and applied handle, stenciled in cobalt "From / OWEN GAFFNEY / Wholesale / LIQUOR DEALER / PETROLEUM CENTRE, Pa." 7/8" hole in underside. Two chips on interior of spout. Recessed spot on one side. Blurriness to stenciling. H 9 3/4".
