Rare Stripe-Decorated Stoneware Bowl, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapered bowl with tooled shoulder and rim, decorated with an alternating design of wavy and straight stripes of cobalt slip. Small chip on interior of rim. Thin Y-shaped crack in underside, extending approximately 3 1/2" up base of bowl on one side and 2" up base on opposite side. H 5 5/8" ; W 9 1/4".
