Swirl-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, attributed to the Reinhardt Family, Vale, NC, circa 1935, ovoid-bodied pitcher with dramatically-flared rim and applied rounded handle, produced from swirled olive and cream-colored clays. In-the-firing horizontal separation under upper handle terminal. Lines in glaze under handle, which probably occured in the firing. Rim chips. H 11 1/2".
