Exceptional Slip-Decorated Redware Pitcher, Pennsylvania origin, mid 19th century, ovoid pitcher with tooled foot, strap handle, and short, flaring collar. Decorated with splashed copper and cream-colored slip and covered in a clear lead glaze. Outstanding color. A few small glaze flakes to exterior, a flake to interior of rim, and flaking to interior base area. H 5 3/4".
