Three Small Pottery Items, American, 19th century, the first a lead and manganese glazed redware inkwell molded in the form of a man's head; the second a wheel-thrown lead-glazed redware inkwell; the third a perforated white clay pot. Head inkwell with chips to bottom edge, chip to nose, additional wear to larger opening and a few spots on surface, as well as heavy chipping to opening at tip of figure's cap. Wheel-thrown inkwell with heavy base chipping, large chip and wear to top edge, and apparent loss to rim (which was evidently ground down). White clay pot with small rim chip. H (of head inkwell) 1 5/8" ; Length (of head inkwell) 2 3/4".
