New York Stoneware Script Jug, New York State origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and tooled spout, decorated with slip-trailed cobalt advertising "E. Ryan / Successor to / J.R.A. Power, / 347 Grand St." Excellent condition: A chip and small bit of kiln furniture to back of rim. Short in-the-firing line in handle. H 13 3/4".
