Two Small Pottery Jugs, American, 19th century, an ovoid handleless stoneware jug or bottle with Albany slip glaze, Northeastern U.S. origin, 1st quarter 19th century, paired with a redware jug with blue-painted inscription "PUT A DROP OF THE ATLANTIC IN MY STOMACH." Stoneware piece with base and rim chips, and contact marks to shoulder. Redware jug with a small base chip and a few spout chips. H (of stoneware jug) 4 1/2" ' H (of redware jug) 2 3/8".
