One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Urn and Foliate Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, possibly Edmands, Charlestown, Mass., circa 1870, decorated with an artistically-rendered slip-trailed plant extending from an urn. Desirable design. Two 1" spout chips. In-the-firing 2 1/2" horizontal separation line at base, with 1" hairline extending from it onto underside. A few very minor base chips. H 11 1/2".
