Scarce Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "D. ACK / MOORESBURG, PA," circa 1875, ovoid jar with flattened rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt floral design. An unusual Central PA maker's mark. Large section of rim professionally restored. Professionally restored vertical crack on reverse. 2 3/4" sealed line from rim on front. H 13".
