Rare Ovoid Stoneware Jar with Impressed Sun Face Decoration, attributed to Xerxes Price, South Amboy, NJ, circa 1820, jar with tooled shoulder, decorated front and back with impressed design of a face within a scalloped border. Interior of design and handle terminals brushed with cobalt. Spider lines in surface. Small base chips. Small rim chip. H 12 1/4".
