Outstanding Open-Handled Stoneware Jar with Incised Floral Decoration, New York or New Jersey, early 19th century, ovoid jar with open handles and tooled shoulder, decorated front and back with a handle-to-handle incised drape and flower design, highlighted in cobalt. Excellent form and very attractive decoration. Rim and base chips. Height 14".
