Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "WB," Washington Becham, Crawford County, GA, second half 19th century, squat-shaped, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and flared spout, the surface covered in a mottled light-olive alkaline glaze. Impressed with Washington Becham maker's mark on handle. A 3/4" spout chip. Stained in-the-making crazing to glaze. An in-the-firing, semi-circular surface crack around underside. H 8 1/4".
