Two-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar, Catawba Valley, NC origin, circa 1850-1880, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and flattened lug handles, the surface covered in a streaky olive-colored alkaline glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 12 1/2".
