Rare Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, attributed to Lewis Haun, Greene County, TN, circa 1860-1890, ovoid pitcher of distinctive form with tooled shoulder, slightly-flared rim, brush-decorated with stylized floral motifs surrounded by spots. Brown slip coating to interior. Provenance: Found in a Washington County, TN home. Handle with two small chips and wear to edges. A few small rim chips and a few small spout chips. In-the-firing surface fissures to base and underside, not visible on interior. Small base chips. H 10 3/4".
