Rare Large-Sized Salt-Glazed Stoneware Flowerpot, Middle TN origin, late 19th or early 20th century, rotund form with flattened rim and two rounded vertical handles, the surface dipped in reddish-brown slip and covered in a salt glaze. Original drain hole underside. Excellent condition with minor paint residue to surface, the vessel's bottom edge with a small in-the-firing ping and a small piece of in-the-firing residue. H 9 1/2" ; Diam. (at base) 7 3/4".
