Large-Sized Salt-Glazed Stoneware Vase with Brown Slip Decoration, Middle TN origin, late 19th or early 20th century, tall, ovoid form with short, slightly-flared collar and two rounded vertical handles, the upper body dipped in reddish-brown slip, the entire surface coated in a salt glaze. A thin crack across underside, forming a long stained T at base. A very faint, approximately 1 1/8" line from rim. Some light surface wear near shoulder. H 17".
