Two Stoneware Jars with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1855-1875, a three-gallon ovoid jar with horizontal tulip decoration on front and reverse, paired with a cylindrical jar with floral motifs around shoulder. Taller with lines to collar, an approximately 3" x 3" network of lines to midsection, minor lines to handle terminals, a small chip to each handle, a chip to interior and exterior of rim, and staining to surface. Other jar with a minor rim chip and minor in-the-firing iron ping to midsection. H (of taller) 13 3/4".
