Rare Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Clabber Bowl, attributed to Landrum Brick and Pottery, Columbia, SC, mid 19th century, semi-ovoid form with tooled rim and applied handle, the surface covered in a light-colored, gray-green alkaline glaze over gray clay. Provenance: From a fifty-year SC collection. Several thin cracks descending from rim to shoulder or midsection. Otherwise excellent condition with minor traces of old white paint to top of rim. H 7 3/4" ; Diam. 9 3/4".
