Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, MD origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and flared rim, brush-decorated with an unusual floral design depicting a tulip and two buds emanating from a central stem flanked by vertical swags. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with minor water glass residue to rim. H 12 1/2".
