Very Rare Small-Sized Stoneware Jug with White Haven, MD Advertising, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, featuring the impressed advertising, "FROM Z.W. TAYLOR / DEALERS IN / DRY GOODS GROCERIES & C / WHITEHAVEN. MD." White Haven is located in Wicomico County, Maryland, in the state's Southern Eastern Shore. This jug is the first piece o f stoneware bearing this town name that we have offered. Crazing to base area, extending onto underside. Some in-the-making mottling to clay. H 8 1/4".
