Scarce Copper-Glazed Stoneware Canning Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, cylindrical form with rounded shoulder and narrow rim with threaded interior, the surface covered in a yellowish-green glaze flecked with iron. Desirable color. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 6 1/2".
