Six-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WHITE'S UTICA," NY State origin, circa 1860, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-squared rim, and applied lug handles, brush-decorated with a large plant bearing two open-centered blossoms. A thin 6" crack from rim on front. A thin 3 1/2" diagonal crack from rim on front. Three thin cracks from rim on reverse measuring 7 1/4", 6 1/4", and 6". Tight cracks and crazing to bottom half of crock on reverse. A 3" Y-shaped surface line to proper left side of crock. A small Y-shaped surface line at base on proper left side of crock. Two chips to proper right handle. A small chip to interior of rim. H 14 1/2".
