Rare Small-Sized Stoneware Crock with Herkimer, N.Y. Advertising, attributed to N.A. White & Son, Utica, NY, circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising, "MAPLE GROVE / STOCK FARM / HERKIMER, N.Y." Provenance: William Bouck Collection. Very nice condition. Some staining and faint surface crazing, not visible on interior. Interior with some light wear and a minor iron ping. H 5 3 1/6" ; Diam. 6".
