Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Bowl, attributed to Lanier Meaders, Cleveland, GA, circa 1960, flare-rimmed bowl with tooled wall, the surface covered in a mottled olive-green alkaline glaze. This unsigned example was attributed to Lanier Meaders by Cleater Meaders at the Slotin Folk Fest on August 18, 2007. Firing cracks to underside, extending partway up wall of bowl, not visible on interior. Diam. 11 1/2" ; H 3 1/4".
