Large-Sized Slip-Decorated Redware Spaniel, PA origin, mid to late 19th century, hollow-molded figure of a seated spaniel on angular base, the head and upper chest with dipped yellow slip decoration including manganese highlights to the head and body, all under a clear lead glaze. Exceptional size. Areas of restoration to surface. H 12 1/2".
