Two Redware Jars, John Bell, Waynesboro, PA, circa 1840-1880, an ovoid jar with clear glaze over a yellow clay ground, stamped "JOHN BELL" on underside, circa 1840-1880; paired with an ovoid jar with lead-and-manganese-glazed interior, stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880. Smaller with a 2" hairline from rim, some light rim and surface, and staining. Other jar with a 3" hairline from rim, in otherwise excellent condition. H (of taller) 6 5/8".
