Three Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Stamped "E & L P NORTON / BENNINGTON VT:," circa 1870, a four-gallon cylindrical crock with brushed and slip-trailed triple-blossomed floral motif, a one-gallon crock with brushed leaf motif, and a one-gallon jug with brushed leaf motif. Largest with a 9" crack from rim on front, a 3 3/8" tight crack from rim on reverse, rim chips, a few short lines at base, staining, some fry to cobalt, and a chip to proper left handle. One-gallon crock with a thin Y-shaped crack on front, some fry to cobalt, staining, rim chips, exfoliation to underside, and a thin 1 5/8" crack from rim. Jug with staining, a small spout chip and minor spout chip, and minor wear to cobalt. H (of largest) 11 3/8".
