Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "L.B. Dilliner. / NEW GENEVA. / PA.," circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring Leander B. Dilliner maker's mark stenciling surrounded by stenciled rose and foliate motifs and flanked by two small stenciled stars. Base stenciled "2" flanked by stylized stenciled devices. Freehand stripe below rim. Very nice condition with some light surface wear, minor in-the-firing flaws, and minor staining. H 11 3/4".
