Five-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WM-E. WARNER / WEST TROY," NY State origin, mid 19th century, semi-ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a double-blossomed stem accented with swags and spots. Cobalt accents to maker's mark and capacity mark. Provenance: William Bouck Collection. Very nice condition with a small in-the-firing bloated spot and iron ping to base, some staining to surface, the spout with a lean and minor in-the-firing nick and tiny iron ping. H 18 1/2".
