Three-Gallon Stoneware Tobacco Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WM.E. WARNER / WEST TROY," NY State origin, mid 19th century, tapering form with rounded shoulder and narrow mouth with flattened rim, brush-decorated with two different styles of tulips emanating from a group of leaves. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Provenance: William Bouck Collection. Small chips to inner rim for lid. A slight slump to rim. A 1 3/4" Y-shaped line to shoulder, not visible on interior. H 14".
