Small-Sized Glazed Redware Jar, New England origin, early to mid 19th century, thin-walled, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and flared rim, the lead-glazed surface featuring olive coloration with attractive orange-and-red spotting. Provenance: Northeast Auctions, 1991; from a fifty-year New England collection. Some light flaking near base and some minor rim wear. H 5 1/8".
