Fine Small-Sized Redware Plate with Two-Color Slip Decoration, PA origin, 19th century, wheel-thrown, thin-walled plate with semi-squared rim, the interior decorated with splashed copper and cream-colored slip under a clear lead glaze. Excellent color and size. Provenance: From a fifty-year New England collection. A shallow 7/8" rim chip, a small in-the-firing contact mark to exterior of rim, and a small flake to interior. Diam. 4 3/8".
