Three Stoneware Jugs with Cobalt Floral Decoration, NY State origin, mid 19th century, a two-gallon jug, stamped "PORTER & FRASER / WEST TROY / NY;" a three-gallon jug, stamped "W-A-LEWIS / GALES-VILLE N Y;" and a three-gallon jug, stamped "N CLARK JR / ATHENS N Y." West Troy jug with staining, base chips, and thin cracks ascending base. Galesville jug with an in-the-firing flake and line to spout, an in-the-firing chip to shoulder, staining to surface, and black marker inscription on underside. Athens jug with cracks to spout and upper handle area (some of which occurred in-the-firing), spout chips, two in-the-firing pings to shoulder, staining to surface, the base with minor chipping and a short line, and some small worn spots to left side of jug. H 14 1/4".
