Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "FULPER BROS. / FLEMINGTON, N.J.," circa 1881-1898, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird perched on a stylized branch. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Some restoration to spout. A minor, glazed-over spout chip. Some over-salting and light staining to surface. H 16".
