One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, probably Abial Price, Middletown Point, NJ or Taunton, MA, circa 1840, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, brush-decorated with four flowers featuring long stems and stamens, emanating from a group of leaves. A large Y-shaped hairline to base / proper right side of jug. A 3 1/2" line to shoulder on front. A minor in-the-firing chip to base of handle. H 11 1/2".
