One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, probably NJ origin, mid 19th century, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a flower with looping stem, accented with leaves, dashes, and spots. Slip-trailed "1.G." Rim with a 1" flake and small chips, some glazed over. Light staining to surface. H 11".
