Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Bird Decoration, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, fourth quarter 19th century, cylindrical jar with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird perched on a stylized branch. Very nice condition. Some light staining and minor white paint residue to surface. A minor nick to front of proper right handle. Nicks and wear to inner rim for lid. H 11 1/2".
