Glazed Redware Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, ovoid jar with footed base and tooling to shoulder and rim, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze producing a pumpkin-orange coloration. Provenance: From a forty-five-year VA collection. Short lines to underside extending onto base. Wear to rim. A 1 3/4" hairline from rim. H 5 1/8".
