Rare Copper-Decorated Redware Grease Lamp, NC or Eastern TN origin, second half 19th century, ovoid form with pinched spout, wide saucer base, and heavily-ribbed handle with thumb rest, featuring dipped olive-green copper decoration to the upper body, the entire surface covered in a clear lead glaze. A 1" inverted Y-shaped line from rim and two 1" lines from rim. Light wear to rim of lamp itself. Saucer rim with a few chips and areas of wear. Minor wear to handle. H 3 3/4" ; Diam. 5 1/4".
