One-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stamped "PAUL:CUSHMANS", Albany, NY origin, circa 1810, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and thick, semi-lunate handles, featuring the large coggled maker's mark, "PAUL:CUSHMANS", across the front. Restoration to base and rim. Tight cracks extending up body of jar from base. A 1 1/2" Y-shaped surface line from rim on reverse, not visible on interior. Minor base chips. Light wear to edges of handles.
