Glazed Redware Jar, Eastern U.S. origin, second quarter 19th century, cylindrical jar with tapered shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with cream-colored slip to the shoulder and manganese streaks throughout, the exterior surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Interior surface covered in a lead-and-manganese glaze. Small chips to rim. Otherwise excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 7 1/4".
