One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Pittsburgh Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, cobalt-decorated with five freehand stripes and the stenciled advertising, "From / Edward Heazleton / No. 18 Diamond, / Pittsburgh, Pa.". Excellent condition with some staining to surface and saltiness to right side of stenciling.
