One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Richmond, VA Advertising, attributed to A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising "H.F. Phillips & Stein / RICHMOND, Va.", above the stenciled inscription "1 1/2" with circular border. A 2" salt drip to reverse. Some light surface wear.
