Slip-Decorated Redware Plate, probably Philadelphia, PA origin, early to mid 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated in yellow slip with wavy trails flanking two leaves and a central stripe with perpendicular dashes. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, purchased by the consignor decades ago. Light wear and some staining to interior. A 3 1/2" line from edge. Diameter 12".
