Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "H.B. PFALTZGRAFF / YORK, PA", circa 1870-1889, semi-ovoid jug with tooled spout, decorated with a large brushed design of a tulip blossoming from a leafy stem. Provenance: Deaccessioned from the Pfaltzgraff Pottery Archives, York, PA. Small stained nicks to spout. Streaks of staining to surface. A tiny in-the-firing ping to handle.
