Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "N.A. WHITE & SON / UTICA, NY", circa 1885, cylindrical jug with wide spout, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed design of two tulips blossoming from a central stem. Includes antique wooden stopper. A 1 3/4" chip to spout on reverse. A 3/4" chip to front of spout and a minor nick to top edge of spout. A minor, glazed-over chip to base of handle. A dry contact mark to front. Black marker notation on underside.
