Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "N.A. WHITE & SON. / UTICA, N.Y.", circa 1885, cylindrical jug with tall spout, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed design of a vine featuring two flowers at the base. Provenance: David Musser Collection. Two spout chips. A small in-the-firing base chip. A 1" in-the-firing chip to underside. Firing residue to underside. Some in-the-firing brown flecking to surface, primarily on reverse.
