Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "BURGER & LANG / ROCHESTER N.Y.", circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, applied lug handles, and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a flower with well-detailed petals and leaves. Slip-trailed "3" at shoulder. Brushed cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Some light fry to cobalt and light staining to surface.
