Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, American, 19th century, a three-gallon crock with heavily-slip-trailed floral design in the New York State style, possibly Northeastern U.S. or Ohio, paired with a two-gallon ovoid jug with cobalt-highlighted capacity mark. Crock with crack in underside, extending onto base, including a large reglued piece at base. Jug in as-made condition with in-the-firing chipping to spout, a contact mark to front, and a minor in-the-firing chip to underside.
