Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Leaf Decoration, Stamped "GEDDES. N.Y," circa 1860, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and squared spout, decorated with three slip-trailed cobalt leaves with heavily-shaded interiors. Some refer to this as a "clam shell" design. 6" vertical hairline in body. Tiny stone ping to front. H 15".
